For years now, style and beauty blogger, Kristina, has edited a blog called Pretty Shiny Sparkly which has gained press from the likes of Lucky, Elle, and Glamour Magazine(s). Part of Kristina's recipe for success over the years has been a "link-up" she hosts called "Bloggers Do it Better."

The jist of this link-up is that Kristina chooses a trend, color, or piece that is sure to be a staple in the upcoming season. Then on a specific date assigned by Kristina, hundreds of bloggers (anyone is welcome as long as you cite Kristina's blog accordingly) will link their respective outfit post up to Pretty Shiny Sparkly. What this culminates in is the world's largest "who wore it best" - but not in a competitive, distasteful, tabloid-esque sort of way. Rather the link-up is a source of inspiration as to how one single trend can translated infinitely depending on one's body, budget, and innate aesthetic.

This Friday (October 25th) marks the next installment of the "Bloggers Do it Better" challenge  and the "piece de resistance" is coats. We are all about coats right now too, in case that's not evident by the military green one we instagrammed this morning and the plaid one we blogged about yesterday.

Love to Kristina and all the bloggers participating in Friday's link up. Bloggers do it Better indeed
